Beide dagen speelt Tourlou muziek uit o.a. IJsland
Tourlou brings folk songs and tunes from various parts of Europe to life. With two violins, a cello and vocals they play and sing melancholic laments and folk dance melodies. Like their repertoire the three Tourlou musicians originate from various places: Spain, Iceland and the Netherlands. The group is based in the Netherlands and is a musical mix of David Alameda Márquez (violin, viola d’amore, voice), Anna Vala Ólafsdóttir (cello, voice), Mayumi Malotaux (violin, voice, mandoline).

Deense muzikant Bjarke Ramsing met soft folk ballads
Bjarke Ramsing had his musical upbringing in the southern countryside of Denmark. Shaping his own musical plateau from remnants of old American Folk, Blues and Roots music. For many years he toured through Europe and overseas. Making his way by playing on street corners and in bars.
Today it seems that the energetic folk songs of Bjarke have found a new fertile base in the Dutch lowlands.
The music spans wide from beautiful soft folk ballads with neat instrumental arrangements to more raw and upbeat acoustic rock compositions. His lyrics are relentlessly searching the filth of modern western life looking for some sort of beauty.
Bjarke conveys a rare and subtle edge of heartfelt sincerity, leaving spectators with a scent of something still raw, unpolished and true.
